If there is something you’d like to learn more about (including Hinge Point/Diagnostic Questions), tailor to your own needs, learn to integrate into your online classes, brainstorm about, or practice/rehearse using, I invite you to schedule an appointment with me (Jill Perry) via email OR via the Faculty Center’s PickTime site: https://www.picktime.com/classpractice
Finally, here is a video resource for learning more about Teacher Desmos Lab (teacher.desmos.com).
Distance Teaching with Desmos
This is an introduction to Teacher.Desmos that was delivered via Zoom by Desmos. The presenter (Dan Meyer) shows and discusses several tools, features, and slide types. It’s a good place to start for an overview and a self-paced experience. (It’s pausable, fast-forwardable, etc.). The content examples are math-focused, but the teacher thinking he shares around the tools are worth watching and listening to.
